Cow Heart

He brought the cow's heart into the classroom and put it down on the table in front. The children gathered around as he carefully unwrapped the white paper to show them. It was huge, it seemed bigger than most of their heads. It sat there heavy and awkward on the slimy paper. They watched with wide eyes as he reached in his fingers and pried it open. Inside there was a messy tangle of red veins and chunky flesh. He lifted a handful of veins out of the heart to show them more closely. It was like spaghetti. The children poked the heart with their fingers. The more adventurous of them reached their hands in. Their fingers left red marks all over the classroom- the tables, the chairs, and their schoolwork. A cow's heart is big and messy but it pumps more blood than ours, he thought.

Buh-BANG! 2009

The mix is complete. Hooray. I made it just for you. I took the train across this town at the crack of noon today just to take a photo for the album art. I made it in Audacity, my new best software-friend.

The mix itself is dance-y, with some jumping, swaying and even writhing about on the floor. It does not have as many words as I generally like to use, but it does have many drums. I would describe it as dreamy. Listen for giggles, because they're in there.

Here are the t-bones:

Possibly my last mix before I sold all my DJ gear and became a German snail who does nothing but sit in the library and eat books. I made it a while ago but I think this is the track list:

1. Minilogue-Arb Almub Almoh

2. Chase and Status-Eastern Jam

3. RSD-Forward Youth

4. Digital Network-Let Me Be Incredible

5. Dubfire-Roadkill

6. Hector Coutou-Insomnia

7. M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade- Body Language

8. Booka Shade-Charlotte Remix

9. Plastikman-Spastik Remix

At 35:03 it's pretty short for a techno mix, so it's pretty easy to digest. Let me know what you think!
